Purlingbrook Falls from Appletree Park

This is a 8 km walk in Springbrook National Park and UNESCO World Heritage-listed Gondwana rainforest. The route from Appletree Park, and sections of the Purlingbrook Falls circuit and Warringa Pool track, are part of the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk. We will finish our walk at the top of the Purlingbrook Falls circuit. A car shuffle will enable us to return to our cars at the end of the walk. The track has a steep downhill section with many steps and may be slippery when wet. Due to recent rain there are two creek crossings to negotiate. It is suitable for beginners of average fitness.
