This walk starts at Westlake, one of the Centenary suburbs along the Brisbane River. After organising a car shuffle, we will follow the Coucal Trail through bushland for about 2 kilometres where there are good views of the Brisbane River. We will then pass through suburbia for a while before reaching the Centenary Bridge. There is a good path along the river which will take us to the Rocks Riverside Park where we will have morning tea. There are interesting historical remains from the days when crushed coral from barges was conveyed to the old cement works at Darra. This will complete the walk as there will be a vehicle in place here.
