It starts at Woorim Beach on the eastern side having a look at the remai ns of the WW2 gun placements and lookout then continue along the souther n coastline to Bongaree on the western side of Bribie Island. Due to the current tide times and the presence of Blue Bottle Jelly fish, we may n ot be able walk the full length of the beach especially near Red Beach t owards Buckley's Hole. Time allowing- we will side trip into Buckley's H ole Bird Hide. However we have a plan for diversion if needed. This will be around 8km - 10km and an easy social walk. Toilets and cafes are ava ilable at Woorim. We will finish with an afternoon tea break at the Brib ie Island RSL club. As the drive to Bribie is about 2 hours, an early st art from Ipswich will be needed. Don't forget to bring water, sunscreen, Hat, good footwear and any snacks/or lunch if required.
