DESCRIPTION:Our walk will start at the Apple Tree Park picnic area on Sp
 ringbrook Rd., Springbrook. We will follow the Gold Coast Hinterland Gre
 at Walk, descending 900 steps through rainforest towards the Woonoongoor
 a Walkers Camp in the Numinbah Valley. Continuing on, our walk will fini
 sh where the Great Walk meets the Nerang-Murwillumbah Road. There should
  be some wonderful views of the cliffs of Lamington Plateau from the Num
 inbah Valley. Keeping in mind the steep descent, the walk is suitable fo
 r beginners of average fitness. A car shuffle will be necessary to compl
 ete the circuit.
