Mt. Mitchell

Mt. Mitchell is a peak in Main Range National Park. The 10.5 km out-and-back trail leaves from the car park at Cunningham's Gap. If parking is unavailable here, there is a further 2 kms each way from an alternative carpark to the start of the trail. The walk is on a graded track with a steep climb towards the end via some stone steps from the saddle to East Peak (1,175m ). It is a scenic walk with views to the Fassifern valley and Scenic Rim peaks.
We will meet at 7.00 am at the usual place in Ipswich on the corner of South and Nicholas Streets.
