This is an Urban walk using the East West Cyclepath (EWC). From Bega park it will be easy walking through scrubby bush along side creeks. Some street walking. There will be an option to explore the Berrinba Wetlands inner paths if desired. We will be walking into Berrinba along the Outer great walk. There will be options for toilet breaks along the way but no shops/cafes. We'll park at Bega park and make the walk a circuit - approximately 8km. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen and water to drink and snacks for Morning tea . This walk is suitable for beginners and is dog friendly. For car pooling meet at the park on the cnr of Nicholas St and South St opposite the Civic centre. If you are bringing a dog , please bring your own vehicle or make arrangements with other members attending the walk. Please note that car pooling costs are subject to change due to the current cost of fuel.
