The walk starts from Kirkston Rd. The park is part of the upper catchment of Iron Pot Creek. The trail is an easy walk that weaves through dry vine forest and on the return we link with the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. It’s popular with bird watchers, well known for a wide range of birds. Worthwhile bringing your binoculars. This walk is approximately 4km long. We may explore another walk near Sapling Pocket Nature Reserve depending on time and access permission.
