DESCRIPTION:We'll leave Ipswich to catch the ferry from Victoria Pt. 0.5
 0c fares still apply. Coochiemudlo Island trail includes walking along s
 and, mangroves, parks and some roads. Although it’s not a difficult wa
 lk, good walking shoes are suggested. Dogs are welcome on the beaches an
 d ferry on leash but can’t enter the melaleuca forest. When we return 
 to Victoria Point we will follow the foreshore for a 5.3 km walk with th
 e option of a short detour to the Egret Colony Wetlands. This walk is su
 itable for beginners. Don't forget to bring water, sunscreen and a hat. 
 Insect repellent if required. There should be the opportunity to purchas
 e Morning tea on the Island if you wish. Other wise bring your own. Meet
  at the cnr of Nicholas and South St (Opp Ipswich Civic Centre) to car p
 ool.
