Lizard point via Mt Roberts M45

We start this 13km 900m vertical gain walk from Teviot Gap and follow a steep ridge to the Roberts-Superbus saddle. The track to Roberts is undulating with some short steep sections and has some spectacular views over the Steamer Range. Lizard Point is the name given to a spectacular rock shelf seen from many points along the Main Range, there is a short scramble on the way. You will need to be fairly fit and able to walk quickly, to complete this walk. DW
