Whites Hill Reserve, Camp Hill. Half Day Walk

Whites Hill Reserve, Boundary Rd, Camp Hill. Whites Hill Reserve is 170 Hectares of bushland located 7km from the CBD. The reserve contains a range of bushland including a small rain forest area, lake, views to the city and surrounding suburbs, koalas and a large range of birdlife. We will explore several tracks: Tallowood Track, Whites Hill circuit, Acacia Track, Sankey Mountain summit track, Shirleyana Track and Bloodwood track. The lookout track is very easy, whilst the Shirleyana track has a few steeper sections with gravel. There have been recent koala siting's, so we might get lucky to view one. Bring plenty of water to drink, a hat and sunscreen. Pack a snack, but we should have enough time to stop at the cafe located near the touch football field on the way out. This is an easy half day walk and we should be back in Ipswich around lunch time.
Meeting place: Cnr South St and Nicholas St at 7am. Car pooling will be worked out when final numbers are set.
