Apple Tree Park to Numinbah Valley

Our walk will start at the Apple Tree Park picnic area on Springbrook Rd., Springbrook. We will follow the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk, descending 900 steps through rainforest towards the Woonoongoora Walkers Camp in the Numinbah Valley. Continuing on, our walk will finish where the Great Walk meets the Nerang-Murwillumbah Road. There should be some wonderful views of the cliffs of Lamington Plateau from the Numinbah Valley. Keeping in mind the steep descent, the walk is suitable for beginners of average fitness. A car shuffle will be necessary to complete the circuit.
