White Rock & Spring Mtn L55

This walk will start at the Six Mile Creek Environmental Park car park, Redbank Plains. The route will take us to Little White rock, followed by a short off track section to the old haul road, from where we will pick up the White Rock ridge trail with spectacular views to the Brisbane skyline and the North Stradbroke Island sand hills, to White Rock.
After morning tea we will take a slight detour to visit some interesting caves. We will then drop into the Woogaroo Creek valley before ascending to a ridge where we will traverse past some balancing rocks. We will follow this ridge to Spring Mountain, where we will have lunch.
The return route will cross Woogaroo Creek and traverse Gunpit Ridge with views to Mt Lindsay. We will then return to the start point via fire roads.
